And then, his brain started working…
Now here is an encouraging piece. To hear that someone has converted from liberal to conservative is like hearing that someone woke up from a coma or that the brain-eating fungus spreading throughout their head just up and died.
And so David Mamet deserves our congratulations. Slicing through the lies that liberalism tells so convincingly is an extremely difficult job, as any who has fought against their emotion-laden, logic-less sniveling will tell you. I only hope that one day there will be some that can point to my writings (as Mamet does the great Thomas Sowell) as helping them to cast off the chains of liberal fallacies.
But such a journey – form darkness into light – is not easy. That they are liberal already brings into question their capacity to reason. Even so, some have not so tightly closed their eyes and minds that truth cannot seep in.

I was real happy to read about Mamet coming to his senses. I always try to separate entertainment from the political views of the actors etc but that’s becoming increasingly hard to do. It seems that the lefties have found fit to embed environmental, anti-corporate messages in just about every form of entertainment these days. The Simpsons movie is probably the most egregious example I’ve seen of late, what an absolute stream of Sierra Club bilge that was. I commend David for seeing the light and look forward to seeing his future work!
