Democrats lie! (Yeah, I know- not exactly headline news, is it?)

Harry Reid discusses how much he and his fellow Democrats believe a worker should get to keep out of their paycheck. Or, maybe he’s discussing how much responsibility he thinks people should have left after government takes over their lives.
That Harry Reid is not pleased right now is cause for all freedom-loving Americans to celebrate. I just love it when their lies are exposed and they go into fits of frothing rage.
As I have repeatedly stated, SCHIP is scam and more power to Bush for vetoing it. Now, Michelle Malkin has added some new facts to the case against the lying Democrats and their socialist dream (fantasy, really) of a utopia where the lazy and/or irresponsible get a free ride off of the hard-working.
Seems as if the two children the Democrats decided to use as an example/excuse to steal even more out of our paychecks are not as financially bad off as they would have us believe. As Malkin correctly points out, “the public trough is not Halsey Frost’s last and only resort. The accident was horrible. The children deserve much sympathy and compassion. But this family made choices. Choices have consequences. Taxpayers of lesser means should not be forced to subsidize them.”
As you will learn by reading her op-ed, that choice was to not purchase insurance. But to the Democrats choices should not have consequences (unless you’re a taxpayer that had nothing to do with the choice- then you should be made to pay for it). To Democrats, it is all about burring your head in the sand to the reality around you and forcing the responsible to suffer for mistakes of the irresponsible.
It’s truly frightening that Democrats are breeding and raising children with no sense of accountability or even right and wrong. Sure, it is hard to imagine the next generation of liberals being even worse than the current one but how could they not? Presumably, even though modern liberals threw out the window whatever instruction they received from their parents about duty, responsibility, honor, and accountability they at least heard those lessons as children. But they surely aren’t teaching that to their own young.
With that in mind, expect the Democrats to become even more rabid to restrict your freedoms and control your lives. And unless you think socialism is the way to go, vote independent, vote Republican, or don’t vote at all. Casting your ballot for a Democrat is the same as taking small but certainly very real steps towards communism.

Don’t forget that they cheat and steal too. But for democrats if the ends justify the means than anything goes.
Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein and the impeached ex-presidents wife all make me want to puke everytime I see them on my screen. The fact that they think that the government can better decide how to spend my hard earned money than I can is very disturbing.
It’s going to be a sad day if we end up with a democrat in the white house and we need to do everything within our powers to beat them fair and square!!!

Perhaps the author — who supposedly bases so much of his theorizing on his Christian beliefs — would be so kind as to demonstrate where Jesus taught that our responsibilities end with ourselves rather than that they extend to our brothers and sisters as well.
The OVERHWELMING majority of us Americans believe the ethics of Jesus were the loftiest of all. Incidentally, the OVERWHELMING majority believe this entails providing for the needy, the children, the elderly, the disabled. Where did Jesus ever try to find “outs” based on the shortsightedness or ignorance of those who are in trouble?
Another question: What would this same Jesus — who had nothing positive to say about wealth, greed, or selfishness — think of the current situation wherein the average CEO making 262 times the amount of the average worker, and about the greedy politicians (of all stripes) who help make this possible?

Doug-
It is because I believe in Jesus and care about others that I don’t want government being the agency to help. I’ve explained all of this to you before- over and over and over and over and over and over and over. It is our individual responsibility to help others- indeed; it is an honor to help others. But when government does it, all of the accountability is taken out- not only for the accountability for the giver (government) but for the receiver, too. If I can go to government after burning my mind out on drugs and keep getting a check there is no accountability. I can keep doing stupid things and there are no consequences because some bleeding heart moron (read: liberal) doesn’t look much beyond providing the basic needs. They fail to address the real problem- the fact that the person can’t take care of themselves because they are on drugs (or whatever the problem may be). End the drug use and you end their dependency on the taxpayers. And they gain back a measure of their dignity as a human being.
Christ calls us to help others- but he does not tell us we should give a blank check. To do so removes any incentive for the receiver to change their ways. And when we abdicate our responsibility to government we loose the blessing of helping another human being in need. We loose the chance to reach that person for Christ (something our government sure won’t do), we loose the chance to make a friend, we loose an opportunity for one human being to connect with another.
And over and over and over and over and over and over and over again I’ve explained to you that I COULD CARE LESS what the majority thinks. You love the majority. The “majority this” and the “majority that.” Of course, to you, that’s a great excuse to trample my rights- oh, the majority wants it so we can just run over Jeff’s plans and hopes. Jeff works hard, plans ahead, does his best to not make mistakes so his life will be smooth- and then, well, since Jeff does that lets take about 50% of what he earns and give it to people who don’t work, don’t think about tomorrow much less 20 years down the road, and don’t care if they get someone or get themselves pregnant, burn their mind out on drugs, loose their job because they come in drunk, gamble away their estate, whatever.
This is the last time I respond to any comment you leave, Doug. I’m right, you’re wrong- it’s that simple and no matter what I do you will just never see that. So I’m wasting my time – what, two years now - even trying to explain it to you. I wasted 30 minutes of my life just now on writing out the above because you’ll still think government is the answer no matter how many times I explain it to you. I already regret the loss of that time because I’m pretty confident you’ll ignore my wish that you stop trying to spread the destructive ideology of liberalism on my blog.
I don’t hate you- nor do I even dislike you- but I hate liberalism a thousand fold more than MoveOn.org hates George Bush. If I could die and, as a result of my death, see liberalism wiped from the face of the earth then I would gladly do so. Imagine, a new dawn of freedom and common sense- without the poison of liberalisms destructive effect on morals, society, even life itself in the form of the slaughter of the unborn through the legal murder of babies.
Don’t bother to post anything on my site again- I know you mean well, but until you grasp the harm our current government does to human lives you’ll always believe they hold the answer. But the true answer to what you’re looking for isn’t in Washington.
Now, pardon me, but I’ve got to get to work so I can pay my Social Security taxes to make sure that you have a comfortable retirement.

We’ve all seen the people that are leading the liberals version of the American dream life and it’s pathetic. Go to any Wal-Mart and there they are. They’re the ones on state disability due to their obesity driving the store-provided scooters. They fill that convenient basket on the front and then go to the checkout with their food stamps. Then they get in their Lexus and drive home to their government subsidized housing where they enjoy their full NFL satellite package on their big screen TV!!!
Giving money to scumbags like this isn’t charity, it’s insanity and only leads to more of them. Of course the above mentioned folks are loyal Democrats so the politicians continue to feed them for their own political gain.
Keep up the great reporting Jeff, you speak the truth no matter what any lib says!!!

Does that mean all my posts, even when I agree with you — for example, when you wrote about the Supreme Court upholding the partial-birth abortion ban? Or just the ones when I question your judgement or factuality?
Been with you since the beginning of this blog, with more posts than any other of your readers. Does it make good business sense to give readers the boot? I’ve posted dissenting comments on other 451 blogs and yours is the first to show me the door. And for what? Personal attacks or obscenities? Nay, for merely daring to question.
